Bobbie Anderson was the BHS quarterback who went on to stardom at CU and with the Denver Broncos! What I recall most about that game was simply watching Bobbie run back and forth down the field every time he got the ball! There were times when our guys couldn`t tackle him so they`d try to trip him!

"AND THEN... our senior year was the first time Fairview EVER beat Boulder High! Boulder High put an outhouse at the front of FHS. Thats what I remember. They liked to call us the Fairview Farmers. HOWEVER, when we whupped em, they shut right up!" ~Shari Payne Ross "I don`t recall the outhouse, but I recall someone dumping a load of cow manure at the front entrance, and the greased flag pole incident. Yep, we were a bunch of hicks living in the sticks, and we liked it!" ~ Alan Saville

So, I just followed coaches advice, being 170 lb tackle, I used my great speed and just got in his way. Blake would run off which way I could get that guy to move. ~Dan Schneider
