Betty and I were both having children about the same time.  We had weekly playdates with our kids and coffee for us.  Betty always found humor in everything and she always got me laughing.  She was so barave and seemed unafraid to try anything.  I would say Betty, I would follow you through anything.  She made me stronger in so many ways.  Even the grief I felt losing a good friend, was also an opportunity to become stronger and face the things in life that scare us, hurt us,and challenge us to accept.  Betty helped me to see how great is the love of the Divine.

Dave and I had straight classes as seniors, and remained best of friends for decades after. We had many adventures together, some comical, some dangerous. Dave had a knack of bringing people together when there was a conflict, and was responsible for smoothing out some situations that were probably started by my explosive temper. He was one of a kind, and is still missed.

Fun guy to be around, watching him sucker people.
